In this video, Billybob discusses the topic of the golem getting a nerf in Clash Royale. The golem is a huge tanky win condition in Clash Royale. It is one of the oldest cards in Clash Royale and has been in some of the best decks of all time in Clash Royale. This viewer suggested making the golem no longer do death damage to air cards. Currently, the golem does death damage to ground and air troops which is a bit weird considering it is on the ground and can’t really affect air troops. The issue with this take is that the golem is not overpowered in Clash Royale, so why would they nerf the golem in the next Clash Royale balance changes. If Clash Royale were to give golem this nerf, Clash Royale would have to buff some of the golem’s other stats. This would mean the golem would have to get a damage or health buff in the next Clash Royale balance changes. This would be very annoying because the golem would be very annoying in Clash Royale if it became overpowered because it is a low skill card and very easy to use.
