What is Clash Royale?

Adrenaline Pumping Gameplay

The gameplay is centered on two main things; the elixir/mana required to play them and cards. Players are required to build a deck, which consists of eight cards, and then bring them into battle. At a given time, only four of the cards will be accessible to the players. Once a card is played, then another card is drawn from the deck so as to take the newly created slot. Selecting a card will cost the player elixir, and it is important to note that each of the cards has a different cost depending on its strength. Selecting a card, allows the player to place a spell, a troop or building any place within the territory. At the initial stages of the game, the player’s territory is limited to the screen’s bottom half. As the player destroys the opposing towers, the player is going to advance on the other side.

The game’s real challenge comes from the push and pulls when trying to balance the defense and the offense. The player is not only required always to be aware of what kind of troops and where the opponent places the troops but to also plan his or her plan to victory. Like a majority of the free to play mobile games, Clash Royale’s primary gameplay makes more than half of the game’s experience. By being able to win matches, the player will be able to earn chests, which will take him or her several hours before being able to unlock them. Upon unlocking the chest, the player can either be rewarded new cards and new currency. The duplicate cards can be used to improve the players of the existing troops. There are 4 levels of cards in the game:

1) Common
2) Rare
3) Epic
4) Legendary

There is a much lower chance of pulling a Legendary card from a chest, than a Common card. A typical 8 deck set up would contain 1 Legendary, 2 Epics, 3 Rares and 2 Commons.

Due to the fact that this is a game which players either live or die due to the strengths of their cards, it is thus essential to slow down the pack so as to ensure that the game is balanced. Otherwise, the extremely strong players would continue to get extremely strong while the weaker players would never be able to catch up with rest.
