This is a common take that I see from the Clash Royale community because some of the Clash Royale players believe that Clash Royale doing less balance changes would help out free to play Clash Royale players. This just is not true. Clash Royale is a game that has a ton of cards and sometimes those cards need to be buffed or nerfed so that Clash Royale has a healthy meta. Everyone hates when there are overpowered cards like the phoenix, elite barbarians, and the night witch, so these cards have to be nerfed, and some cards in Clash Royale just aren’t played much at all. For example, the goblin giant is very rarely played right now in Clash Royale and is need of a buff. All of this being said, no, Clash Royale should not do less balance changes, they should do more.
