For example, if Clash Royale buffs the hog rider, cards like the cannon are going to be used more and cards like the inferno tower are going to be used less. Each balance change in Clash Royale affects more than one card. This makes Clash Royale players wonder what kind of balance changes are needed to keep the game balanced. Many players think that changing the elixir cost of Clash Royale cards are the best way to balance overpowered Clash Royale cards. This is the furthest thing from the truth. Changing the elixir cost of a Clash Royale card will be the biggest buff or nerf possible in the game. The only cards in Clash royale right now that can be nerfed or buffed by an elixir change would be the phoenix or wizard. This is because the phoenix is also overpowered in Clash Royale and the wizard in always terrible in Clash Royale. The issue is that this will change so many of the best decks in Clash Royale that Clash Royale will most likely never change the elixir costs of these cards.
