Today I played and completed a Grand Challenge using the 2.9 Xbow cycle deck. This is my 100th 12 win Grand Challenge in Clash Royale, and I achieved the Level 5 Grand Challenge Badge for my profile. I decided to do the final 12 win with 2.9 Xbow Cycle, because it’s an iconic and special deck that lies close to my heart. This posed an extra challenge, however, as the deck is significantly weaker and more difficult to use without the Knight. I was up for the challenge. I also got my 100th 12 win Classic Challenge with 2.9 Xbow Cycle, over two years ago, so I will always remember this achievement together with that one.

On my path leading to this achievement, I started a new series, the Road to 100 12 Win Grand Challenges With 3.0 Xbow Cycle! This is similar to another series I made in the past, the Road to 100 12 Win Classic Challenges With Xbow. I decided to create this so that I can make the x100 12 Win Grand Challenge achievement more meaningful for me. Each video started from 6 Wins, and there have been 5 episodes total including this one. I have finally achieved the x100 Badge.

In this clash royale video I played a clash royale grand challenge using the 2.9 Xbow cycle deck. This deck has the clash royale xbow and tesla siege defense as well as the clash royale cycle cards for quick defense and mechanical gameplay. This is currently a weak and high-skill cap clash royale deck. It is the precursor to the clash royale 3.0 Xbow cycle deck, which has the clash royale Knight in place of the clash royale Ice Golem, which changes some interactions with different decks. The Ice Golem’s passive temperament makes it weaker against several matchups, as compared to the more potent and viable Knight, which can attack troops. This used to be one of the best clash royale decks, and can still work well in the hands of a very experienced player, due to its ability to perform well against almost any matchup if played perfectly. That being said, this is definitely an outdated and antiquated version, because the Knight is a necessity to perform well in the current meta.
