DECK TIPS from Makarious 🙂
Since many people asked from me to give tips again about hog mortar swarms and how to deal with diffrent matchups and didnt respond in dm as it was so many guys ask…
Heres some general advanced tips about the deck and how to use and win hard matchups
1)Against magic archer decks you have to save fireball and try take value of it
Like try to beat magic archer with bats or gang and counter push but if the opponent pressure on you,you will have to fireball it and defend with swarm troops depends in his spells Ex:if he had arrows with cheap deck never use horde but if the deck requires high elixir you need to cycle it faster than his arrows
2)Some tips also against golem :
You had to know which spells are and pressure with the counter of spell
Like if he had b barrel dont pressure hog gang go and pressure hog bats or if he doesnt have b barrel in his cycle you can do it and never attack mortar against golem its useless you need to defend it with gang and taking value of fire zap on nw and b dragon and horde when b drag connect in the tower
3)Against lava:you presure hog gang opposite lane and if he put ballon behind lava put mortar in same lane to distract lava and make tower connect to ballon and destroy it so you can easy defense with cheapest cards like bats or spear and fireball if he pressured beside lava after lava pups
4)Against log bait:princess is so annoying card and also the barrel because you dont have log but to master in this game you have to get rid of princess with horde or mortar and hog opposite lane and zap in your hand cuz he will put gang in middle of arena to distarct both so you must be so fast in attack and so calm in defense
And if he has cannon cart or rascals or many cards need log you have to go mortar defense all game and only with hog cheap damage
5)Also i want to say there are some games that doesnt depend on the 2 win conditions only..in many games you will use one more than the other like in pekka bridge spam games
6)Hog is uselss and your win condition is mortar and swarm troops and in some games like royal hogs and hunter the win condition is hog by cheap damage
You need to be very patient while playing this deck you gonna face many obstacles in game and you had to overcome it with little lose
Very important calculate the card list and the elixir and you should know very well 100%when you be aggresive and spam pressure and when defense all time and win by tie breaker
7)Against xbow:no mortar offense against 2.9 all defense in higher health tower and attack same lane even if he made the opposite lane you will do like him because only way to win is cheap damage with tie breaker like:taking value with spear goblin and firing xbow and tower both or predict xbow tesla together then pressure mortar and this game you lose the 2 win conditions so you must know how to deal
8)Against 3.5 180°degree diffrence
You must pressure with mortar and dont let him have a chance to cycle rocket in your tower and in this game if his tower is like 1200 or 1300 hp and your tower is high only by 1000 hp you will start cycle fire zap in tower when he start to cycle rocket and playing cheapest cards for very fast cycle. His damage with spells is higher but he needs more time so time very important that game
9)There are also very annoying splash cards like baby drag,rg,wizard,exec,bomb tower,valkerie,nado all are bad cards to us
So you must know very well how to deal with them in that game like bats on valkerie and also bats in baby dragon and again bats on wiz if wiz is alone
To beat his nado,you have to be patient with your hog…if he cycles fast no hog this game and if cycle slow pressure one hog and another no
10)Against splash cards best solution is bats or tank and swarm card
